Eternal Father strong to save
Whose arm doth bind the restless wave
Who bid the mighty ocean deep
It’s own appointed limits keep
Oh hear us when we cry to thee
For those in peril on the sea
Lord guard and guide all those who fly
Through the great spaces in the sky
Be with them traversing the air
In darkening storms or sunlight fair
Oh hear us as we lift our prayer
For those in peril in the air
O Savior whose almighty word
The winds and waves submissive heard
Who walked upon the foaming deep
And calm amid the storm didst sleep
Oh hear us when we cry to thee
For those in peril on the sea
